Geruma Island
Geruma Island is a small island in the Kerama Islands, a national park located about 40km west of the main island of Okinawa.
It is connected by bridges to the neighboring Aka Island and Gaiji Island, where Kerama Airport is located.
The island has a population of about 50 people and is a quiet, secluded spot where nature remains, with the ocean frequented by humpback whales and the Kerama deer, a national treasure, living there!
The Mitsushima Village Route operates the routes between Zamami Island and Aka Island, and between Tokashiki Island and Aka Island.
Aka Island to Geruma Island is about a 30 minute walk or a 20 minute bike ride away.

Opened in September 2011.
Owner chef/born in Kumamoto and raised in Osaka, the extremely unsociable Farmer Rocker, Masaki Maeda.
Please enjoy locally produced cuisine.
There are occasional live events.
